Laid-back beach weddings are never a bad idea, and this one at Majestic View in North Topsail Beach was exactly the kind of wedding day I love photographing.
Instead of a traditional wedding venue, these two rented a massive oceanfront home on Topsail Island and turned the backyard into their own private wedding venue. With the Atlantic Ocean just beyond the dunes, friends and family gathered for an intimate beach ceremony before heading back to the house to celebrate, eat, drink, and enjoy the night together.
The whole day had that effortless Topsail Island feeling—casual, coastal, personal, and completely focused on spending time with the people they love.
Majestic View is an incredible setting for a North Topsail Beach wedding. The oceanfront property combines a huge backyard and private beach access with plenty of space for everyone to hang out, making it possible to have the ceremony, reception, and accommodations all in one place.
And honestly, these two were so chill that photographing their wedding felt less like showing up to work and more like hanging out with a bunch of friends.
