Cameron and Devyn fully embraced the moody, romantic vibes for their October wedding at Station No. 2 in downtown Wilmington, NC. Located on 5th Street, this historic firehouse turned wedding venue is such a unique space, with tons of character and the perfect atmosphere for an intimate celebration. The couple leaned into a darker, slightly spooky aesthetic with black suits, elegant black tablecloths, deep red florals, and rich, romantic details throughout the space. Their outdoor courtyard ceremony featured a triangle arbor surrounded by dark red mums, with string lights adding to the ambiance as they exchanged handwritten vows and incorporated a special rope-tying ceremony.
The reception space at Station No. 2 carried that same moody elegance into the evening, creating an intimate and inviting atmosphere for celebrating with family and friends. Sawmill kept everyone well fed, while Mixology DJMC provided the entertainment and kept the party going. To wrap up the night, Cameron and Devyn made their exit surrounded by glowing twinkle-light wands, a unique alternative to the traditional sparkler send-off and the perfect ending to an unforgettable wedding. Station No. 2 is easily one of Wilmington’s most distinctive intimate wedding venues, and Cameron and Devyn’s celebration was a perfect example of how much personality you can bring to this historic downtown space.
