Liz & Jimmy’s wedding at the Lebanon Chapel at Airlie Gardens and reception at Landfall Country Club Dye Club took place on a beautiful spring day in April, perfectly coinciding with the Garden Party of the 78th Annual North Carolina Azalea Festival. While Airlie Road buzzed with celebration, they created a garden party of their own at the iconic Lebanon Chapel, surrounded by azaleas in full bloom and glowing under the warm spring sun. The day began at the Dye Club, where Liz got ready in a space that offered the perfect setting for detail photos and relaxed, joyful moments—we even had time to explore the grounds for portraits before heading to the ceremony. As guests made their way through garden party traffic, we stepped into the quiet, tucked-away beauty of The Lebanon Chapel at Airlie Gardens, where it was especially meaningful to photograph a ceremony inside the chapel—something I don’t often get to experience there. Afterward, we wandered the grounds for portraits beneath moss-draped live oaks and along Airlie Lake, where the light reflected beautifully off the water. On the way to the reception, we stopped at Overlook Park along Landfall Drive for more portraits overlooking the Intracoastal Waterway before arriving back at the Dye Club, where guests awaited their grand entrance. The evening unfolded with heartfelt toasts, a delicious meal, formal dances, and a lively celebration that filled the dance floor—an unforgettable day from beginning to end.
