Sydney & Logan’s Warehouse on Water wedding in Downtown Wilmington, NC was a beautiful celebration filled with heartfelt moments, historic charm, and an unforgettable sunset. Located along the Cape Fear River and just steps from the cobblestone streets of historic Water Street, the Warehouse on Water provided the perfect backdrop with its exposed brick walls, warm string lights, and elegant chandeliers. Despite record-breaking June heat, the couple shared an intimate first look on the porch of Logan’s Airbnb before gathering with their bridal party beneath the shade of Wilmington’s iconic live oak trees. Their ceremony featured heartfelt words from both mothers, handwritten vows, and a touching group prayer before they were officially pronounced husband and wife. After family portraits overlooking the river and a stroll through downtown Wilmington for newlywed portraits, guests celebrated with an energetic reception, delicious food, and plenty of dancing. Just when we thought the day couldn’t get any better, the clouds parted to reveal an incredible sunset reflecting off the rain-soaked cobblestones of Water Street, creating the perfect ending to an unforgettable wedding day. It had been several years since I last photographed a wedding at the Warehouse on Water, and it was such a pleasure to return to one of downtown Wilmington’s most unique wedding venues. Sydney and Logan, thank you both for trusting me to capture your wedding day!
