Hope & Shaun’s wedding at Old Homestead Farm was one of those days that felt straight out of a storybook. Nestled in the heart of the countryside just outside of Wilmington, NC, this rustic farm venue set the perfect tone for their heartfelt celebration. With its charming barn, rolling fields, and golden fall light, it was the ideal backdrop for a day full of love, laughter, and southern charm. From the moment I arrived, the energy was calm but full of anticipation. Hope got ready surrounded by her bridesmaids in the cozy bridal suite, where laughter and happy tears filled the air. Her classic lace gown and soft, romantic bouquet tied together the rustic feel of the day perfectly. Shaun and his groomsmen spent the morning at the barn, sharing stories and laughs before the ceremony. When the time came for the two to meet at the altar under the open sky, you could feel the emotion ripple through the crowd. The way they looked at each other said everything — this was a love that had been years in the making. As the sun began to set, we wandered through the open fields for portraits. The golden light wrapped around them like something out of a dream. Those are the moments I live for — when the day slows down just enough for couples to take it all in and be fully present together. The reception inside the barn was full of warmth and joy — twinkling lights, heartfelt toasts, and a dance floor that never seemed to slow down. Surrounded by friends and family, Hope and Shaun celebrated late into the night, ending their wedding day with sparklers and smiles that said it all. Hope & Shaun’s wedding at Old Homestead Farm was a perfect reflection of who they are — grounded, joyful, and deeply in love. I’m so thankful to have been there to capture it all.
