Hauser Family Beach Portraits | Holden Beach, NC Photographer

Had another fun session down at Holden Beach, NC a couple days after the last one. It’s kind of funny because I was referred to them by the people staying next door, who I was shooting portraits for a couple days earlier. It’s always good to get referrals. It’s quite a trek down to Holden from Wilmington, so making the drive couple days apart made me feel like I should just get a hotel room. But it is a fun drive and I enjoyed making it. This was a large and lively bunch, with a lot of fun ideas, like the human taco that you’ll see below. We shot some group shots and a bunch of various combinations. Here a few of those. I have a wedding this weekend then I’m heading to Cali for a couple weeks for the US Open of surfing and to explore Big Sur and Southern Cali. So the blog will be on a brief hiatus until I return.

Can’t forget the pooch!
TACO! O-LAY!

Kinnaman Family Beach Portraits | Holden Beach, NC Photographer

Had the pleasure of shooting the Kinnaman’s and their family out at Holden Beach, North Carolina last week. We had to reschedule the original date due to rain and this session almost got rained out as well, but we managed to get in some quality shooting before the storms moved in. This was my first trip out to Holden this year and it turns out I ended up shooting the family next door to them a couple days after this session, so those will be up on the blog next. If you would like a family session of your own, please contact me to set up your session! Pricing can be found under the Information tab above.

Jacob+Heather | Engagement | Fort Fisher, NC Photographer

I formatted these images for the blog a while back and I thought I had posted them. We had this session a little under a month ago down at Fort Fisher, North Carolina. This was one of my favorite sessions from down there, which tends to be the case whenever I shoot at Ft Fisher. We ended up doing some exploring in some spots I’ve never gone to, including climbing trees, bushwhacking and navigating some interesting tunnels through trees, it turned out to be quite the adventure. Jake joked that these images are going to help boost his career as a J.C. Penny catalog model. I’ll look forward to shooting their wedding this coming September!
