Lacy and Kris had a beautiful spring wedding at the Barn at Rock Creek in Leland, North Carolina. It’s been a couple years since I’ve been out there and I was instantly reminded what a great space it is. They chose to have the ceremony under the pavilion, reserving the barn for the reception space. The details were fantastic, from the personalized handmade oyster shell table placements (made by Lacy) to her custom converse shoes, the elegant table placements and the beautifully designed fireplace (arranged by Kris) to backdrop the ceremony, you can tell a lot of thought and heart were put into every aspect. The team at Sarah Ann Weddings and Events made sure every detail was bride-approved and ensured the day ran smoothly. The florals were assembled by hand by Lacy and her friends and the delicious food was prepared by A Thyme Savor. It was a great day that I’m sure won’t be soon forgotten by the many guests who came from all over to help celebrate their special day. We even managed to get “Prince”, their golden retriever, in for some photos!
This was one of my last weddings before COVID put a hand to the face of the 2020 wedding season. It’s been an interesting year, just sitting here waiting patiently for things to get back to normal. Brynee + Rob were married at Wrightsville Manor in the outdoor terrace. In front of a geometric arbor with gorgeous florals by Design Perfection, they said their “I Do’s” in front of many of their family and friends, many of which had travelled a great distance to attend.
