So the Boone trip was a blast. It will be my future home for sure, I love it up there. The weather was beautiful on saturday, apparently the nicest its been in a while. Got some good shots, and the skyports ended up working great, with only a few misfires that could be attributed to my flash recharge time. Bunch of guys came out to skate. I got a SUPER nice shot of Adam Robert sweatstancing this burly kink rail, but I won’t post that one up just now, just incase its used for his interview in ONE mag. But for now I’ll post up this shot of Phil Gripper from Charlotte, NC lacing this fishbrain. He ripped this rail a new one.
This is one of the first photos I have ever taken. It’s a stretch trying to think of when this was, but it was certainly earrly 2000’s. Shot with my full manual old school Nikon, with a manual 50mm lens, on proabably Kodak B&W Film. Clay Martin on the blades. Click on it to view it larger.
