Airlie Gardens WeddingLets start breathing some life back into this blog, shall we? I had a very busy fall wedding season (thanks guys :)), which put me behind on my blogging. But all 2015 weddings are out the door, and the door is open for 2016! I hope everyone had an awesome time during the holidays, I still have some open dates in 2016 and I’m currently booking into 2017 as well. Get those inquiries in! That being said, I will be sharing many weddings from 2015, starting with Ryan & Molly, who were wed at the beautiful Airlie Gardens in Wilmington, NC. Need a photographer for your Airlie Gardens Wedding? Me! Me! Me! here to check my availability.
Southport Community Center Wedding. Here are some photos from Orry and Laurens’ wedding in Southport / Oak Island, NC a couple weekends ago. If you follow the blog, you’d remember these faces from their engagement session a few months back. This wedding was a blast. We started out on Oak Island where Lauren & her bridemaids were preparing for the big day. Just down the road, Orry and his groomsmen were doing the same. The ceremony was held at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Southport, NC. This was my first time photographing a catholic wedding and it was BEAUTIFUL! The church was fantastic and even though the ceremony was a little longer than what I’m used to, it gave me the opportunity to get even more photos! The reception was held at the beautiful Southport Community Building, located in historic downtown Southport, overlooking the water. The reception can only be summed up in a few words, these folks know how to party! I also had the pleasure of working with videographers Josh and Patricia from Reel Weddings (http://www.thereelweddings.com/). The do great work, check out the wedding trailer from Orry and Lauren’s wedding, http://vimeo.com/43747931. Here are a few images I captured from their wedding day! Enjoy!
I shot Orry and Lauren’s engagement session a couple weekends ago in Southport, NC. Our original plan of beginning the shoot at Orton plantation was a bust, since that place is still locked up like Fort Knox. We still managed to bag a bunch of incredible images in our short 2 session. These two were naturals making my job easy and fun. And any excuse to explore around the beautiful downtown district of Southport is a good one. I look forward to capturing Orry and Lauren’s Wedding at the Southport Community Center in May.
