Lea & Mark had originally planned their ceremony on the banks of the Eno River in Durham, NC. Due to some impending weather, they made a last ditch effort to find an indoor space for their ceremony. Enter, The Speed House. Now, I won’t say this was better than the original plan, but it was one of those happy little accidents where it couldn’t have been a more perfect venue to house a ceremony. The Speed House is a large warehouse housing a handful of vintage European sports cars, providing a unique (and pretty badass) backdrop for a wedding ceremony. We were still able to shoot some photos at the Eno River prior to the ceremony for their first look. The best of both worlds. The reception was help at The Rickhouse in historic downtown Durham, a retired distillery boasting restored and reclaimed wood and exposed brick throughout, providing the perfect to backdrop their whimsical themed reception.
