Kathleen & Ryan’s Carolina Yacht Club wedding was held on a warm day in November with perfect weather and even better people. After our first meeting, I knew these two were going to be a blast to work with. Super sweet, laid-back and down to earth, their love for each other is portrayed so obviously through the photographs. Growing up on Wrightsville Beach, it has always been a special place for me and the Carolina Yacht Club has always been a staple in the community. The 1853 Room, where the bride got ready, gives off nostalgic beach cottage vibes and their ceremony on the back deck, overlooked the calm tourqoiuse waters of the Atlantic. Two rocking chairs, dedicated to their late grandparents, who made this property such a special place to the family, rested on the middle deck. We were treated to a perfect sunset on the property’s dock, overlooking Banks Channel. Lastly, the bride’s mother and sisters, dressed up in full 80s costumes to kick off the reception in a grand way. Be sure to make your way to the bottom for a full list of vendors!
