Devin & Josh were married at the beautiful Station No 2 in Wilmington, NC. Tucked away just south of Downtown, Station No 2 is located in a 1915 decommissioned firehouse transformed into a charming, boutique wedding venue. Beside the intimate reception space, is a private garden courtyard, transporting you into a beautifully landscaped secret garden. As an added bonus, the top floor is a fully equipped, spacious living space, perfect fully suitable for a wedding party or night-of accommodations. I first met Devin and Josh for their engagement session in Downtown Wilmington. Where we spent the afternoon walking all around downtown stopping at all their favorite spots, including Slainte, where they had their first date. Their fun, casual energy made them both a pleasure to be around and I immediately knew we were a good fit. Fast forward to Mid-May 2025, we had a beautiful pre-summer warm up, with sunny skies and a cozy blast of southern humidity. Between AC breaks inside, we worked through their first look in front of the large, red firehouse doors, followed by their full bridal party and family portraits. With the fans on full blast, we made our way to the courtyard for an emotional, intimate ceremony. As the sun got lower and the heat tapered off, the courtyard was flipped into cocktail hour with a cozy lounge brought in by Martha My Dear Rentals. The party was then moved inside with a delicious feast catered by Middle of the Island and an epic dance party with entertainment by Atlantic Premier.
