Jess & Sean got married in the Spring at the New Hanover county arboretum in Wilmington, NC. With the spring perennials in full bloom, I couldn’t think of a more perfect time to get married here.

I had the opportunity to meet Bridget + Blake out in Raleigh, North Carolina for their engagement session at the NC Art Museum. We spend a couple hours walking around exploring the property making use of the many unique features of the building and its surroundings. I love exploring and shooting in new locations, this was one of my favorites!
Separk Mansion WeddingJosh & Lindsay have been friends for a long time. It seems like they’ve moved and lived all over the state of North Carolina, so when Josh proposed, I wasn’t sure where they would decide to tie the knot. They decided on Separk Mansion in Gastonia, NC, a happy middle ground for both of their families and friends. I had not heard of Separk Mansion before, but upon some heavy googling, I found this beautiful renovated Italian mansion, located just 20 minutes from uptown Charlotte. Josh & Lindsay’s day was filled with fun, laughter and tears as they and their families came together to officially become one. Thank you, Josh & Lindsay for the opportunity to join you and photograph you on such a special day! Wishing you infinite years of happiness!!
Wrightsville Manor Wedding I knew from Kat + Aaron’s engagement session that their wedding was going to be a styled dream. Kat designed everything herself and her family and the crew at Bubbly Events executed her vision perfectly. Their boho styled decor was over the top gorgeous, too many details to name. Eco Chic Blossoms put together the florals and arranged a stunning bouquet that is one of my favorites to date and Wrightsville Manor provided the perfect backdrop to house their friends and family for an unforgettable event. See more from their engagement session, here. Check out the A-List cast of vendors: Coordinator: Katie Lange (Bubbly Events), DJ: Jason Tatum (Active Entertainment), Florist: Kristy Holt (Eco Chic Blossoms), Catering: Middle Of The Island (www.middleofisland.com).
Topsail Beach WeddingIt’s almost beach wedding season! Everyone knows spring is the best season to get married at the beach! With the days getting warmer (and longer! Woohoo!) theres really no better time to be at the beach (minus the cold water!). We’re throwing it back to intimate destination beach wedding in Topsail Island, NC. These two were such a blast, super giggly and photogenic. The paper lanterns were my favorite!
The Atrium WeddingStarting off the new year catching up on blogging past weddings. This one was a small affair a year ago shot at the Atrium in Downtown Wilmington, NC. Adam and Ria opted to scratch the big flashy reception with a nice intimate dinner at the Beam Room located above Front Street Brewery. If you’re looking for a more intimate wedding setting, The Atrium is your go-to destination!
Fort Fisher EngagementHad the pleasure of shooting these two babes down at Fort Fisher a few weeks ago. They’re pretty easy on the eyes, aren’t they? I used to shoot down at Fort Fisher all the time, but it had been about a year maybe since my last one. It’s definitely one of my all time favorite spots. And this is one of my all time favorite sessions! Actually, I’ve had quite a few awesome engagement sessions here lately. Guess its that time of year!
Wrightsville Manor Wedding Jesse & Erin’s original wedding date happened to be when a hurricane was forecasted to make landfall here on the coast. After some careful consideration, Erin decided to postpone her original October wedding date to a new date in November, because let’s be honest, who wants to get married during a hurricane? It turned out to be a good decision and she was still able to secure most, if not all, of her original vendors for the new date. Brittany with Orchid Island Events helped coordinate and design the look of Wrightsville Manor with help from Beautiful flowers by June, and it looked pretty incredible (hence all the detail shots you’ll see below, I’m kind of obsessed). A Thyme Savor catered and the band Spare Change kept the party going late into the evening. Also, shoutout to Tony Morin at Hendy St Productions who handled the video work on this wedding and was a pleasure to work with!
