YC and Lily Wang brought this beautiful little girl into the world in September. We shot these a little over a month later. Congrats guys!
Jeremy and Cortney’s Fort Fisher wedding took place yesterday, so I can now post some of the images we made on Cortney’s Bridal Session. We did this session back in April at Fort Fisher in southeastern North Carolina. Cortney must be on great terms with the big guy upstairs because both her wedding and bridal sessions were forecasted to be rainy and stormy but both days ended up being perfect weather with beautiful light. We started out the session at the historic fort area before heading across the street to the beach to end up the session. She had an old antique chair that she wanted to incorporate into the shoot which turned out to be a very fitting prop. We came out with some incredible images. Here are some I wanted to share…

I’ll have a preview of Jeremy and Cortney’s wedding up in the next couple weeks, so be on lookout for that.
Graduation for New Hanover County Highschools were this past weekend. I got together with Shanice to shoot a few photos of her in her graduation garb. I shot Shanice’s Senior photos this past september. You can view those here. Congrats to all the graduates! Contact me if you, or anyone you know, are interested in getting some Senior photos taken. Steer clear of those stagnant Lifetouch school photographers and get something more modern and sophisticated at a location of your choice. You only graduate highschool once, and these photos last a lifetime…
I shot Oliver’s 6 Month photos down at the South End of Wrightsville Beach a few weeks ago. Oliver was born just a few weeks after my daughter. Their due dates were actually only a couple days apart, Evie just decided to come a little earlier :). So they’re destined to be best friends. Did I mention he also has a sweet mohawk?
Those who follow my work, you’ll recognize this little champ. I shot Mile’s 3 and 6 month photos just when he was a little guy. He’s grown so much since our last session. The Weber’s moved up north, but came back down for a weekend and wanted to get some more photos done. We met up at Poplar Grove for some family portraits. Here’s a few of what we got.
Been busy lately and haven’t had a chance to update the bloggy with some recent sessions. Well I’m going to try and get caught up in the next few weeks. I have about 6 sessions to blog. This first one will be a combination of two of those sessions. Evie’s 6th and 7th month sessions. As most of you know, Evie is my daughter, and I have been doing a formal session a month to document her growth and milestones. I plan to assemble a book of her first year when we get to that point. I think you will agree she is a cutie!
In addition to this post, I also have James and Misty’s Engagement Session, Oliver Bollinger’s 6 Month Session, Miles Weber’s 16 month Session. I also have to finish up Part 2 of my California Trip and I had a amazing Bridal Session with Cortney Lovelace (soon to be Jenkins :)) a few weeks ago. Those of course cannot be posted until after their wedding in June! Either way, sit back and enjoy the imagery!
And her 7 Month Photos, which also happen to be her first trip to the beach!
