I knew after first meeting Casey and Carter for their engagement session that their Sunset Beach Wedding was going to be an unforgettable time. We started out the day at Casey’s parents house in Sunset Beach, before heading to their ceremony at St Brendan’s Catholic Church. We had a nice little break between the ceremony and reception at Sea Trail in Sunset Beach. We took this opportunity to head down to Sunset Beach Park with the bridal party in tow for some portraits. The light was perfect and leaves were falling as the wind blew and we came away with some great portraits. We parted ways to head to the newly renovated Sea Trail golf resort for their reception. Boasting 40,000 sq feet of indoor and outdoor space, this was the perfect place to host their large reception. Carter being a musician himself, I knew going into it the music was not going to disappoint, and it certainly did not. They brought in the Sleeping Booty Band from Raleigh and everyone danced the night away. We ended the night watching Carter get up on stage to slap the bass for a song. What a day!
